Bruce Weber works his magic again behind the lens with his beloved dogs. Whether it’s a custom made Moncler jacket or your run of the mill parka available at Petco, our four legged friends (especially the 90 pound variety), don’t like to wear clothes. I tried and failed miserably. It was a pretty stylish army green number w/orange lining too (wishful thinking). Back to the store it went with a little drool on the collar. But even if it doesn’t work, this campaign is still super cute. {found via NY Times)

Right after Point Break came out (and I watched it a dozen times in a row), I was pretty convinced I was going to become a pro surfer or at least marry one. One problem (actually two), I lived in Wisconsin (far far away from the ocean) and my swimming skills were just good enough to keep me alive, in a pool…..during gym class. One can dream though right? Powerful, inspiring, beautiful, peaceful and serene…..

What a great charity. Operation Heroes & Hounds matches homeless dogs from animal shelters with wounded military veterans. It is a charity that is beneficial for both military veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury as well as giving animal companions a second chance at life.
